Limiting Reagent Tutorial

In this tutorial, you can practice a limiting reagent problem. You will fill in a table that is in a format of that shown in the previous tutorial (please refer to the previous tutorial for format). Here, we allow you to practice on of the reactions shown in the previous tutorial:

Au₂S₃ + 3H₂ 3H₂S + 2Au

You can choose different initial masses and work the problem as many times as you want, allowing you to practice filling in the table and determining the correct final masses of each specie. When the tutorial starts, only the molar mass entries in the table will show, along with the words Correct at the bottom of each column (this may be off the bottom of you screen, so scroll down to see it). As you correctly fill in each entries, new entries will appear. If you do not correctly fill in an entry, a new entry will not appear. You must hit a carriage return after you enter each number in order for the tutorial to register your answer.
