  Below you will find a collection a frequently asked questions on how to use the LUCID web pages. If you don't find an answer to your particular problem, please send an email to note to plimbac@unix1.sncc.lsu.edu with your question. I will be sure to answer it promptly, and I will also add it to this list.

Introduction

LUCID is a collection of web sites pertaining to each of the General Chemistry courses offered at Louisiana State University. These pages are the creation of Professors Les Butler, Randy Hall, Neil Kestner, and Pat Limbach in collaboration with Dr. Mitchell Brown of the LSU Chemistry Library.

How can I view images? All I see is text.

In general, these pages require the use of browsers capable of displaying text and images. If you are trying to access this site using TIGER, don't-go to one of the following locations on campus and use a web browser. If you absolutely cannot use anything but TIGER, the following site has a small amount of text-only information for Chemistry 1201.

How can I find information for my section?

If your instructor has their own web page for your section, you can access those pages through Instructor's Web Pages. Otherwise, you can send your instructor an email note. If you don't know your instructor's email address, check here.
