Plugins and Helper Applications

To properly view many of the interactive displays on the LUCID web site pages you will need to have the following plug-ins or helper applications loaded in your browser. A complete list of all available plugins is at the Netscape Plugin Directory site. The required plugins are those which will be necessary to view standard course information. The optional plugins and helper applications are those which you will need if you want to enjoy some of the multimedia offerings on this site.

Required Plugins

Adobe's Acrobat Amber Reader (available for nearly all operating systems). Just download the Acrobat Reader for your operating system. There is no charge for the reader only.

Optional Plugins and Helper Applications

		Ivan Belaunde's ViewMovie Quicktime (available only for Macintosh) or Intelligence at Large's MovieStar (available for Windows 95 and Macintosh)
		RasMol (available for Macintosh, Windows and Unix operating systems)

Simply follow the instructions with each of the plugins and once they are loaded, restart your browser and come on back to access helpful class information.
